THE VAMPIRE HISTORY
The Vampire came about in 2021. Guitarist, ZLPK had formed the band, and bassist Fenrizz Tony had joined not long after. They started writing demos together, and they eventually got Josh Ele on Lead Guitars. The band would get signed in September of 2021 by HSM on a four album deal after releasing their first demo, simply entitled 'The Demo Sessions'. They would record two demo albums, one being self titled, and another entitled 'For Eternity', although they wouldn't see much success with these albums.

In 2024, The Vampire were scheduled to go on a mini UK tour with Turquoise Dragon, although they would get called off at last minute. The band had some issues with each members personal lives, and they all couldn't be far from home, this is where the recording of their debut album, Awakening starts.
Guitarist Josh Ele and Samples / Keyboards Charlie Hudson decided to write some demos together. Some of the first songs would be:
Worlds Apart
Speak The Truth
And Rainfall.

With these demos, they decided to record them in Charlies home studio, which was called Charlies Dungeon. Guitarist ZLPK had said that Worlds Apart was his fully written song, and he wasn't even on the original demo.
'At the time I felt a shift in the band - it wasn't what it once was. Where I had more of a say from 2021 to 2023, It sort of changed when we started recording this album.'

The recording process would start from February 2024 (when they were meant to go on tour with Turquoise Dragon) to October 2024. They wrote the majority of the songs in the studio, but some where previously demoed.
